I am proud to call Bayfield, Colorado, home – nestled in the heart of the stunning Western Slope, where faith, family, and freedom fuel my every action. I understand firsthand the unique challenges and needs of the Western Slope and rural communities, from protecting water rights and supporting agriculture to ensuring economic opportunity and safeguarding conservative values.
US Navy
Mayo Clinic
My service journey began in the United States Navy (2000-2004) as a Hospital Corpsman. I proudly served aboard the USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75) and at the Naval Medical Center in Portsmouth, where I learned the true meaning of resilience, duty, and sacrifice – values that continue to guide me today.
With more than 35 years of experience in the medical field, I am a Critical Care Nurse Practitioner with a Master of Nursing degree earned in 2019. My advanced training in Open Heart Surgery at the Mayo Clinic, the nation’s top-ranked hospital, honed my expertise and prepared me to excel in both high-pressure ICU environments and rural hospitals.
In critical moments, where every second matters and decisions are a matter of life and death, I have led teams through life-saving trauma care. During the COVID-19 pandemic, when our communities were in desperate need of steadfast leadership and compassionate care, I rose to the challenge, delivering the unwavering support our patients and teams relied upon.
Supporting President Trump and Danielle Jurinsky to protect our communities
But my commitment extends far beyond healthcare. I’ve been a tireless advocate for Colorado’s future, stepping up as a Precinct Committee Person (PCP) and Secretary of the La Plata County GOP. Now, as Vice Chair of the Colorado Republican Party, I’ve been honored to spearhead grassroots efforts, train precinct leaders, strengthen county parties, and relentlessly work to elect true conservatives who are committed to defending our values.
2A Absolutist
In addition to my work as Vice Chair, I also volunteer as a Bill Analyst for the Liberty Scorecard, where I meticulously review legislative bills in the State Assembly and fight to hold our elected officials accountable.
Yet, simply reviewing bills wasn’t enough. As a passionate conservative and proud Coloradoan, I regularly testify before the State Assembly, championing our core values—protecting our children, preserving parental rights, defending TABOR and the Second Amendment, and fighting against the rising cost of living that burdens hard-working families.
On a personal note, I’ve been happily married to my incredible husband, Steven, for 20 years. We love spending time on our property – whether we’re target shooting, gardening, or snowboarding – surrounded by our three Great Pyrenees, two cats, and a flock of chickens. This is my home. This is my fight.
Statewide Campaign Leadership: In over 15 months, I traveled to 57 of Colorado’s 64 counties, supporting over 226 candidates and providing critical resources, including:
Protect our Children
Overcame gross mismanagement: When our administration took over, it was clear we had to confront the mismanagement of the previous Colorado GOP leadership. We operated like the Department of Government Efficiency (D.O.G.E.), exposing financial mismanagement, backroom deals, and decisions made without grassroots input – mirroring the corrupt practices of the federal Deep State. This leadership was unacceptable and had to end.
SCOTUS Victory: A hard-fought battle ensured President Donald J. Trump remained on the primary ballot, showcasing the unstoppable power of grassroots determination.
Trump Endorsement: The Colorado GOP made history by officially endorsing President Trump, uniting Republicans and solidifying our path to victory in 2024.
Fundraising Triumph: The America First grassroots donor base surged to its highest in 15 years, securing critical funds for outreach, voter engagement, and more.
Closing the Open Primary Effort: Partnering with former Senator Kevin Lundberg, we advanced legal action to restore integrity to our primary elections, ensuring they reflect the true will of the people.
Exposing Corruption & Securing Elections: We exposed blatant corruption by Secretary of State Jena Griswold, who recklessly compromised Colorado’s election integrity by publicly posting highly sensitive BIOS passwords online for months. This shocking breach of security undermined trust in our elections and allowed unauthorized access to confidential systems.
Restored Fiscal Responsibility and Rebuilding Trust: Despite the gross mishandling of party resources from the previous administrations, we turned the tide – we successfully rebuilt the party and increased state party coffers by $2.4 million. This proved that with the right leadership, we could make the Colorado GOP thrive and serve the people effectively once again.
As your Vice Chair for the Colorado Republican Party, it has been my honor to fight alongside you for our conservative values. Together, we have built a powerful movement – but this is just the beginning.
Over the past 15 months, I traveled to 57 of Colorado’s 64 counties, supporting 226 Republican candidates and ensuring they had the tools to win. I helped candidates navigate Tracer and FEC regulations, built campaign websites, and provided training on Numinar canvassing and voter outreach. I held weekly post-primary strategy sessions, amplified candidate events through State Party platforms, and sent daily emails to over 70,000 Republicans.
Beyond digital engagement, I was on the ground – connecting with voters at county fairs, leading grassroots rallies, and organizing flag-waving events. I spearheaded statewide ballot-curing efforts, played a direct role in voter signature verification, made 113,491 calls, and sent 26,287 text messages in support of Republican candidates. I also connected campaigns with over 2,500 volunteers and key donors.
This fight is far from over. Our success has proven that when we stand together, we win. I’m ready to keep pushing forward – because our values, our movement, and the future of Colorado depend on it.
Our efforts didn’t stop at the state level. In Milwaukee, I had the honor of working alongside three incredible volunteers to organize an experience for the Colorado Delegation at the RNC Convention – something that usually takes over a year of planning, but we accomplished in just two months. This was not just a logistical victory; it was a symbolic one. In that moment, we successfully nominated President Donald J. Trump as our Presidential Candidate, ensuring that Colorado played a critical role in his campaign and reaffirming our state’s position as a cornerstone of the America First movement.
Under our leadership, we didn’t just talk about change – we made it happen. We flipped three Colorado State House seats, shattered the super minority in the State House, and winning a total of five seats, including monumental victories in the 8th Congressional District, both in Congress and on the Board of Education. This wasn’t by accident. This was by design – by pushing back against the establishment, staying grounded in the principles of freedom, opportunity, and putting America first. Every victory was hard-earned, and every win was a testament to the grassroots power of Colorado Republicans.
Beyond the political victories, my dedication to this party and its values runs much deeper. As a U.S. Navy veteran, I was humbled to be invited to the Commander in Chief Ball during the 60th Presidential Inauguration. Watching President Trump and the First Lady share their first dance, surrounded by extraordinary individuals who had sacrificed so much for our country, I felt a profound sense of responsibility to continue serving both this nation and the party that upholds its principles.
I was also honored to participate in a private wreath-laying ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery, alongside President Trump and JD Vance, as we paid tribute to the lives lost during the tragic Afghanistan withdrawal. This experience further deepened my understanding of the weight of leadership – not only for our party but for the future of our nation. These moments, along with countless conversations with voters, candidates, and fellow leaders, have reaffirmed my commitment to our shared values and the need to honor those who have given everything for our freedom.
We are on the right path, but our work is far from over. The challenges ahead are substantial, but they are not insurmountable. Our state needs leadership that is unafraid to stand up, fight for what’s right, and remain committed to the values that have made this country great.
That’s why I am running again for Vice Chair of the Colorado Republican Party. I am committed to continuing the fight for conservative principles, for our values, and for the future of Colorado. Together, we can push back against the establishment and keep our party rooted in the America First vision. We will continue to build a party that is strong, unified, and ready to face the challenges of the future.
I am asking for your support as we continue this journey together. Thank you for your trust, your dedication, and your commitment to our shared cause. Together, we will make Colorado – and America – great again.
Stepping into 2025 America First & Continuing to Move Colorado Forward,
Vice Chair, Hope Scheppelman
Colorado America First Movement
BREAKING: “There is no one in the Colorado GOP who fights harder for your God-given, constitutional rights than Hope Scheppelman. She is an unapologetic warrior for the Second Amendment, standing on the front lines against every tyrannical gun grab the radical left tries to push through. When weak politicians back down, Hope stands up – testifying, exposing, and shredding every attempt to infringe on our rights. The left fears Hope because she doesn’t …
