What are the major issues in Colorado’s 3rd Congressional District?2025-10-07T14:31:25-07:00

Some of the biggest issues facing Colorado’s 3rd District are protecting our water rights, defending our farmers and ranchers, restoring rural healthcare, unleashing American energy, securing our public lands, and rebuilding our infrastructure,  all with America First priorities.

What is the position on water rights and water policy?2025-10-07T14:33:25-07:00

I believe Colorado’s water is one of our greatest resources and must be protected for future generations. We need smart investment in water infrastructure, fair policies that respect upstream rights, and a balanced approach that supports agriculture, families, and local communities across our state.

How will rural healthcare be addressed?2025-10-07T14:33:43-07:00
I will work to expand access to quality healthcare in our rural communities by improving telehealth infrastructure, supporting local clinics, and incentivizing providers to serve where they’re most needed. I’ll also call for a full audit of both Medicare and Medicaid to ensure accountability and sustainability — and I believe in implementing work programs for those who are able to work while receiving Medicaid.
What is the stance on energy and climate change?2025-10-07T14:33:55-07:00
I stand for American energy independence, made right here in Colorado. We must unleash our oil, gas, coal, and clean energy resources without destroying local jobs or raising costs for families. I’ll always put our workers and communities first, supporting responsible energy development that strengthens our economy and secures our nation’s future.
How will agriculture and public lands be managed?2025-10-07T14:34:22-07:00

Colorado’s farmers, ranchers, and landowners know how to care for the land better than Washington ever will. I’ll fight to return control of our public lands to local communities, cut the red tape strangling agriculture, and protect private property rights. Our land should be managed by the people who live and work on it, not distant bureaucrats.

What is Hope’s plan for improving the economy in western Colorado?2025-10-07T14:35:16-07:00
My plan is to put western Colorado back to work by empowering small businesses, cutting unnecessary regulations, and expanding broadband so every community can thrive. I’ll champion local industries — agriculture, energy, tourism, and manufacturing — to build a strong, self-reliant economy that puts Colorado workers and families first.
How will education be supported in rural areas?2025-10-07T14:40:52-07:00

I will fight to ensure every child in rural Colorado has access to a quality education. That means fair funding for our schools, expanding career and technical training, and supporting our teachers so they can stay and thrive in the communities they serve. Education should prepare our kids for real opportunities — not push political agendas.

What steps are being taken to protect Colorado’s public lands and outdoor heritage?2025-10-07T14:40:50-07:00

I will protect Colorado’s public lands and our outdoor heritage by putting local communities in charge, ensuring responsible stewardship, and keeping these lands open and accessible for hunting, fishing, and recreation for generations of Coloradans — not overrun by federal overreach.

How does this campaign plan to support veterans and first responders?2025-10-07T11:56:42-07:00

The plan includes better access to mental health care, job transition programs, and funding for local emergency services.
