Defends our always under-siege Second Amendment

Now the real question…

If Jeff Hurd voted for President Trump’s One Big Beautiful Bill Act — and claims he “defends our always under-siege Second Amendment”

Why didn’t he sign this letter?
Why stay silent when freedom needs a fighter?

Here’s what Congress just told Attorney General Pam Bondi:

The National Firearms Act’s entire foundation no longer exists.

The NFA—written in 1934—created a $200 tax (nearly $5,000 in today’s money) on short-barreled rifles, shotguns, silencers, and “Any Other Weapon” classifications. That tax is the only reason the ATF registration and transfer requirements were allowed to exist.

No tax = no registry.
They are legally inseparable.

On July 4, 2025, President Donald J. Trump signed the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, and Section 70436 eliminated that $200 tax entirely. It is now $0 for:

  • Short-barreled rifles
  • Short-barreled shotguns
  • Silencers
  • “Any Other Weapon”

With the tax gone, Congress made its intent unmistakable:

  • The NFA’s registration and transfer requirements have collapsed.
  • Those requirements must now be treated as repealed.
  • If the tax is $0, there should NOT be a registry—period.
  • DOJ must stop enforcing rules that no longer have any constitutional basis.

Old rule: $200 tax → registration → ATF stamp
New reality: $0 tax → registration cannot be enforced

Congress stood up. Congress spoke loudly.
So again—why didn’t Jeff Hurd?

My pledge to Colorado’s 3rd District

s a veteran, as a constitutional conservative, and as your next Congresswoman,
I will always stand unshakably with the Second Amendment and every law-abiding gun owner in Colorado’s 3rd District.

For years, I’ve stood on the front lines at the Colorado State Legislature—
over 80 testimonies against unconstitutional gun-control bills pushed by the tyrannical left.

I didn’t back down then.
I will not back down in Congress.

Below are the videos, testimony, and battles to prove it.
I have fought relentlessly to defend your right to keep and bear arms—
and I will continue that fight in Washington.

Because the Second Amendment is not a suggestion.
It is not conditional.
It is not negotiable.

It SHALL NOT be infringed.

For Liberty,
