Hope Scheppelman Signs the Federal Candidate Pledge for Liberty

I am honored to have signed the Liberty Pledge.

By adding my name, I’ve committed to defending the Constitution, protecting individual freedom, and limiting government overreach. As your candidate for Colorado’s 3rd Congressional District, I will fight every day for liberty, opportunity, and the rights of every Coloradan.

Jeff Hurd still refuses to pledge basic protections for the US Constitution.

Like all great American patriots, the Libertarian Party of Colorado agrees with us.

From respecting AND obeying the US Constitution to eliminating tax burdens on workers and families, they believe the same things that most Republicans like us still believe.

That’s why I’m proud to have signed their multi-issue pledge to advance our shared values in Congress against all enemies, foreign and domestic.

While they are a minor party in Colorado, the Libertarians understand that they don’t want to pull a few percentage points from a real Republican in a General election and thereby help elect a radical Democrat when many races like this are decided by only a few points.

That’s why they have also pledged to work with me to encourage their members to avoid running in the CD3 General election to help ensure they don’t spoil the race.

But if freshman incumbent “Republican” Jeff Hurd is our Republican nominee again, he is guaranteed a Libertarian opponent that will give the Democrat a big advantage and jeopardize the US House Majority, where we Republicans have only a few seats to spare.

Otherwise, Democrat Hakeem Jeffries will be the new Speaker of the House and grind President Trump’s mandate to a halt.   And it will be because Jeff Hurd refuses to support common-sense conservative leadership in support of the US Constitution.
