Food Banks in CD3 Step Up to Lead When Politicians Fail
Bayfield, CO: Today, Hope Scheppelman released an updated list of food banks to help our neighbors who need help while radical Democrats and weak Republicans keep our federal government closed. Serving all 27 counties in Colorado’s 3rd Congressional District, these community servants can help all hungry people in need.
“When the politicians so often fail us, it’s important to realize true leadership comes from grassroots neighbors who serve and care deeply about those in need. I’m honored for the chance to serve our communities just like these CD3 food banks do every day,” said Scheppelman.
Entering the 34th day of shutdown, Congress is poised to set an all-time record for closing its doors on the American people. If in need of help or if still waiting for SNAP benefits to flow again, citizens can reach out to these organizations to make ends meet and ensure no one goes hungry in the USA.
