Hello, Colorado. Hope Scheppelman here, candidate for Colorado’s third congressional district.

Congressman Jeff Herd wants you and your family to be victims. While President Donald J. Trump has made it clear that illegal immigration must be stopped, with mass deportations and an executive order ending birthright citizenship for children born to illegal aliens.

Congressman Jeff Herd refuses to stand with President Trump. Hurd believes illegal aliens should remain in our communities until they commit more crimes. Until American citizens become victims, that’s not leadership. It’s a dangerous gamble with our family safety.

These individuals have already broken our laws by entering our country illegally. Yet, Congressman Jeff Herd supports amnesty and refuses to prioritize removal. His position mirrors that of Congressman Gabe Evans, who told ICE not to waste resources on those here unlawfully. Another clear break from President Trump’s America First agenda.

Let’s be clear, there is no amnesty for those who break our laws. Illegal immigration is not a victimless issue.

In a Colorado Sun article published on September 30th, 2024, Congressman Jeff Herd exposed his dangerous priorities, and public safety isn’t one of them. Quote, “The government should prioritize deportation of people who are living in the US illegally who are committing violent crimes.”

Let that sink in.

Congressman Jeff Hurd is saying illegal aliens can stay in our communities until they commit violence, until someone is assaulted, until a child is killed, until a family is shattered forever.
