As we have been traveling this beautiful district the last seven weeks, the sentiment has been the same. Our voices are not being heard by our current congressmen.

  • Whether you’re the senior in Archuleta County who’s worried about Medicare and the cost of health care, we hear you.
  • Whether your family members in La Plata County who are worried about parental rights and school overreach, we hear you.
  • Whether your community members in Delta County who are worried about their community hospital being affected by the Medicaid cuts, we hear you.
  • Whether you are oil and gas operators in Delta County who are going to be affected by the Gunnison Outdoors Resources Protection (GORP) Act that our current congressman signed on to with the Democrats Bennett and Hickenlooper,  we hear you.
  • Whether you live in Gunnison County and the surrounding counties that will be affected by the GORP and lock up 730,000 acres of public land. We hear you.
  • Whether you are ranchers in Pitkin County and are being affected by the wolf introduction, we hear you.
